Zoya Bokhoor:
Reiki Master, Grief and Trauma Coach for Highly Sensitive Women
After the loss of my first husband, my only son Roy died before his 25th birthday. It was quite a while before my focus began to shift to living instead of dying.
My healing began after I received messages from Roy through my 10-year-old nephew. I knew at the time that I wanted to tell people that there is life after death. Those messages and that impulse helped me make a choice to start my healing process.
A decade of professional and personal development
My passion for coaching and teaching, along with my healing abilities, developed after going through a process that helped me release my own grief. After 10 years of professional and personal development, I discovered gifts of intuitive energy healing,
The path toward grief coaching
In 2011, around the time my account of my journey was published in the bestselling book Get Your Woman On: Embracing Beauty, Grace and the Power of Women, a friend suggested I consider grief coaching as a career. The moment I heard that, I knew it was my destiny and the best way to help others heal their sorrow.
With that clarity, my path emerged -- to learn different methods of healing through new discoveries, including the study of spiritual practices such as Shamanism. I became a Certified Usui/Holy Fire III Master/Teacher Reiki Practitioner and developed a signature coaching program for grief “From Heartbreak to Happiness®”
Transforming energy sensitivity into a gift
As a child, I struggled constantly with being highly sensitive to energy and not knowing how to manage the emotions I felt from others. I frequently felt anxious or out of place, regardless of my surroundings. I was often labeled as shy, but I knew the truth was far more complex.
Eventually I was able to turn it into a gift that helps others heal. Today I wake up eager to embrace each day, and I go to bed feeling grateful for the amazing experiences I have had.
I want everyone to experience this kind of transformation -- to release their childhood trauma, manage their sensitivity, and enhance their well-being. You have the right to feel safe and loved in your body.
A compassionate approach to healing
In 2012 I founded Healing With Compassion, with the intention of transforming lives with a compassionate approach to healing grief and trauma and helping people to manage their energy sensitivity.
My healing modalities include Reiki, breathwork, meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and my “From Heartbreak to Happiness®” coaching program. Each technique is designed to nurture emotional well-being and restore balance, helping you embark on a journey of profound healing and personal growth.
I am dedicated to guiding you towards a life of resilience and joy, ensuring you have the
tools and support to achieve lasting transformation.
